Founder of Fera Libens
Francesco Virtuani
The PhD at the Politecnico di Milano comes after a double degree in Economics and Art History and several years of experience in the mass marketing field and cultural heritage. Francesco decided to put all that together to start his own project with the help of Federico Guenzi.
Born in 2015, Fera Libens is a small Italian studio based in Milan that makes animal free shoes, using only eco-friendly and innovative materials, respecting the environment and the tradition of Made in Italy with a contemporary twist.
Greater awareness and responsibility when we shop is what our founder is fighting for. Thanks to this innovative approach, the project has obtained several awards from Italian and international press and has been supported by the Startup incubator SpeedMiUp.
Italian craftsmanship, extremely high quality, Animal-Free materials together with affordable prices, are the choices taken to convince people that this is the natural choice.
That also explains the latin name Fera “animal,” Libens “happy”.
